I just started with "Lord of flies". What a strange tale! I should not have watched the movie. It spoiled the book for me.

I didn't like Gorgoyle. Such a boring love story.

Winter is coming. It is getting cold, but not enough rain to go skiing.

Kitten and puppy are busy. Don't know what we will do in holiday. Go skiing!!!

Xmas is coming. What should I buy??? I hate shopping, especially in a holiday crowd.

Raven seems to like her new can food. They smell so bad. It seems the worse it smells, she likes it the better. Yuk!!!

My little kitten's birthday is coming. I don't know what to buy her. I am thinking a snare would be good but she doesn't like it...

The summer is gone!!! Just like I have predicted in the beginning of the summer. It just puffed and gone. Oh cats and dogs!

The last half a week of summer. There is nothing I can do. Raven the cat wants nothing but the can food. It was not a hot summer, didn't get to swim much at all.

Now what??? Get prepared for the school year... A long year is ahead of me ...

Stress, stress. I need a life...

I am back

It feels like a long vacation, although it is less than two weeks. I miss my kids so much.

First week of summer is almost gone. I am afraid that the summer will just fly by without accomplishing anything, without even have fun. I need to find another camp for my little kitten. Maybe raging water. She likes water :-)

It is not warm enough yet. The swimming pool is still sit idle. Cannot wait to throw Raven into the pool...

Oh Cat. I got the books but I cannot read them. Hope the kids will use the SAT books. How do I get them to study vocab?

We are planning a trip, leaving the kitten and the puppy behind. I am concerned that they are going to bully Raven.

Oh well, time to go home.

Raven the cat

Raven has been so cute these days, following us on our evening walks. Every morning she waits patiently at the door for her can food. I am surprised that she is not getting fat. Maybe I should feed her more, much more...

More, much more meat and meat, drools Raven the cat.

My books were shipped yesterday. I have thought they would do it earlier. Anyway I will keep the Olympian book to read at my flight.

I just read a news that another Gunn high kid (a girl this time) killed herself by jumping into an incoming train last night. I cannot believe how she could think of ending her life at such a young age, when life is just beginning. It is so sad. I hope my kids will never, ever think about suicide. I hope they will come to me if there is anything bothering them. There is always a solution to any problem you can face, even though you may think there is no solution.

There is a saying in "Sound of music": when God closes a door, he will open a window.

Thanks God for my beautiful children. Maybe they live to a ripe age.

I ordered half a dozen books today from Amazon. 2 novels and 3 SAT books. Hope they will use the SAT books by themselves and don't have to go to SAT classes. That will save me lots of money, and time driving them to classes.

I really need to start to make plan for summer. Where oh where should we go?

My little kitten got a nasty spider bite on her leg. Hope it will get better today. It is really itchy.

I am almost finished with outlier. It is a good book. Very inspiring and have some good opinions. I will try to get the book for the kids to read.

The summer is just around the corner. I cannot wait to take my kitten and puppy to summer vacation. The problem is, I haven't figured out where to go for this summer. Anyway, school off is always a good thing.

BTW, I am getting "over the hedge" for this weekend. Hope it is good.

Raven the cat has been sick for the whole long weekend!!! I have to stay at home with her. It turned out to be fun. We played a lot cards......

We had fun and good food while the dogs were out there digging for clams.
